Holy Family School Dress Code

The appearance of students reflects a sense of pride.  Our children are proud of who they are, how they look, and what they accomplish.  When standards are set high, children achieve high standards.  The opposite is also true.

Holy Family’s Dress Code promotes a classic, matching uniform for all students.  Each student has the responsibility to be neat in appearance at all times.  Proper fit is important.  Neither over-sized fashion, nor tight fitting clothing will be permitted.  In addition, clothing that is ripped, torn, with holes, frayed cuffs, stained, or ragged in way, will not be allowed.

Students will observe the school uniform regulations and be in uniform unless permission has been given by the principal or office to wear other clothing for that day.  School uniforms are supplied by Dennis Uniform Company which has a store in Tukwila, or can be reached on-line for ordering at www.dennisuniform.com Parents may also purchase pants online at www.dickies.com or wherever Dickies pants are sold (they call their grey “silver” NOT “CHARCOAL”) as long as the pants purchased have the same trouser style uniform look as the Dennis pants.  No low-rider or “hip hugger” style pants, no cargo style pants, no zippers on legs, no pants with embroidery or other decorations.  White “polo” style shirts may be purchased at any store as long as they are all white and have no decoration or colored embroidery.  The following grid is meant to help you see at a glance acceptable uniform attire.  Before purchasing, please read the qualifications on each uniform component in order to make wise purchases.
